Notes on Vaping.. burning coils/dry wicks..stuff

My pipe set up is:

protank mini 2
EGO GS II 2200mh OR
Vision Spinner II (slightly broken)

it's the set up I've been happiest with so far.

I *was* enjoying a tank (Vapour-X Extreme) I got off eBay ( user: wild-at-art), but the whole top popped off and it needed binned, I actually bought 3.. I made a video showing this then when I complained to 'wild-at-art':

Hi David, I have seen your video. I cant see any problem with the tank. The swivel drip tips are supposed to be removable to allow proper cleaning and the option to use alternative drip tips. Kind regards Chris.

needless to say.. I don't and won't ever shop there again. watch the video.. the product is obviously faulty. the seal has broke so when I try to vape/suck i only get air intake.. no vapour. it's sucking air in from the sides of the top. useless!

BURNING TASTES:

Man, I have experienced this a LOT!

New coils always seems to burn.. even when I had pre-wet the wicks!

I found keeping the rubber ring on, loosening the coil from the coil socket (not the voltage socket, which is just underneath).. gets things in a better state..

I'm saying this all the while, right now I am having burning problems.. I will keep at it!

NOTE: as the metal has more heat in it.. it expands, with less it contracts.. pipes can get quite hot, but it thats where you flavor is: your going to lose it when you pipe is cold, and vice verse.. nothing can be done, except switching cold pipes, but heat.. idk, maybe leave your pipe *close* not ON a radiator.

UPDATE 08/08/17:

Cleaning the whole thing, especially the contact on the battery and contact on the coil, CAN help with very low burn.

Burning taste, CAN be alleviated by unscrewing the coil slightly further from the battery contact and so moving the coil making less contact = less electricity.
