The 10 Wonders Of The Internet..

Had this list in my head for almost ten years maybe (for some).. why not share it?

1. Google

Find anything. if its on the internet. its also here (probably)

2. eBay

Buy anything. If it exists as a product it's probably here too, even second hand.

3. Youtube

Watch anything. if it's been recorded and is not 'adult'. it's probably here.

4. Paypal.

The internet's bank. If you don't have a Paypal get one, you'll be glad you did.

5. Netflix

Point of contention here, as USA Netflix was in 2010 the place to find ANY TV show or movie. these days Netflix has opened up to other countries and while the selection is not as wondrous, even in the US, it still has a place on this list. When I talked to them they assured me they are 'working on it ;) '

6. Yahoo Mail

Yahoo Mail is prolly the longest standing mail site on the internet. It was my first email account in 1999. They offer pretty much all their services for free, and a huge amount of the internet would be lost without them.

7. The Wayback Machine

Find old websites no longer in use, explore the internet of days gone by. see what Yahoo looked like in the year 2000. A definite wonder of the internet.

8. Wikipedia

Research anything. While the editorial process is NOT neutral as they claim to be, it is undoubtedly a fine resource for study.

9. Nexus

The Nexus, is a PC gamer's resource for downloading free game modifications. if it exists as a mod, it's here.

10. Skype

Talk to anyone on the internet for free.
