Thoughts on what a Black Beauty Guitar is..

The first 'Black Beauty' I ever knew about was of course the Gibson Les Paul it looked something like this:

Now *I* would say.. you don't REALLY need the 3 pickups for it to be a black beauty.. so then what do I think should qualify?

Gold Hardware: yes
High Quality Cut MOP: yes
Ebony* fretboard: yes
Binding: yes
2 pickups or more: yes
Custom line: yes
Black: yes

The headstock inlay makes it extra special however have a look at my Epiphone Scroll Custom SC550 Black Beauty:

There are also SG black beauties.. and the black RD Artist even though not the 'custom' certainly looks more custom than the RD custom..
