Legendary 1980s Cartoon 'Dungeons and Dragons' never concluded.. Why not give closure to the many many fans with a 1-off Netflix animated movie?

Hi www

In the 1980s I learned at 10 years old what it was like for a show to end without conclusion.. the show? Legendary TV Cartoon 'Dungeons & Dragons' ..

Sadly in the 90s they made a movie..

The movie theater was packed full, body to body breathing each others breath packed, everyone was SO excited.. I was 17 years old, and could NOT wait to see our adventurers get HOME.. finally!!! everyone in the packed theater had the same excitement.. you could feel it.. it was electric! 20 minutes later.. people started walking out.

I.. wanted to leave but movie tickets aren't cheap, so I sat through it.. ever hoping to see the gang from D&D. By the end, lights up & I realized; half the audience had left.

The D&D movie had NOTHING to do with the 3 season long cartoon of legend.

So it occurs to me.. WHY? Why not make it now..? A Netflix 1:1 recreation of the finale..

I mean the script for the ending is written and put online for anyone to read by the OFFICIAL Author of the D&D Cartoons: Michael Reaves. A bit of legend himself.. he along with Mark Evanier (early) Steve Gerber, Buzz Dixon and Paul Dini (later) wrote the shows.

Read the finale script HERE

It's called 'Requiem' .. and would give said closure to many many fans*.

I note that Netflix picked another show from my childhood that is now remade/recreated 'The New Adventures of Monkey'.. fused me with nostalgia .. and The Hollow, in lew of D&D.. the feeling that The Hollow had an ending and was/is .. somewhat of a successor to D&D (in style of story) .. it was so.. edifying*, but not perfectly..

And so.. I share these thoughts..

have a great and bizzare day!
