Americana and heritage

perhaps americans feel they have no heritage, but what about the 50's? a golden age for them.

american small diners, with the red leather stools and booths, drive-ins with the movie speaker on the window.. how can they not appreciate this?.. well they can and do! but perhaps having no heritage society of great note, hinders preservation.

a few should be saved, because and if your american reading this, in a hundred years your children will miss out on their heritage.

so will we have to watch back to the future to see these places? as a tourist would it be a good attraction? not like Vegas but a bit like seeing a Scottish Castle or an English Hamlet, with Tudor buildings.

just a suggestion..

thanks

Brands of car (ferrari ) competing for the £30k flyweight

I have been playing test drive unlimited for xbox and i have been thinking..

would it be cool for Ferrari to re-launch the Dino range, but aimed at the Lotus Exige, a flyweight car fast with the hammer down off the mark but with a comparatively small top speed 120-130 mph, but is amazing on corners and has ferrari styling? i would keep the stallion badge but have a yellow horse on a black background and based the body style loosely on the original Dinos, maybe 70's style :)

like some Ferrari's limit the color to red and special order black, perhaps it would make the Dino range specialer to limit the colours to Black and special order Yellow.

Dino could be a sub-brand of Ferrari, like Squire is to Fender in the guitar market :)
budget conscious but still designed to do a job well at that price, deigning all the perks but delivering some, and those perks are of the highest quality. the highest quality handling and immediate acceleration, but deigning a high top speed, inspiring respect for both brands. not just a budget ferrari, but a brand that gives a unique experience, a light car with italian styling. Ariel, Caterham, Lotus, in Britain what a niche :) for £30k we can experience the history of Rally versus F1 in these cars, I wonder if we could get a dog fight with the Italians? they seem the closest with Ferrari, but they are not £30k so... could they make a Dino for £30k to compete?
